About Us

The United States Maritime Institute provides professional training,  inspections, and business improvement services through the transfer and application of knowledge. USMI supports this mission by providing unparalleled experience through our management team, led by Capt. Jake DesVergers.

The U.S. Maritime Institute has trained people worldwide and provided specialized consulting to major maritime organizations. Our goal remains the same: to develop solutions to your most important business concerns and incorporate these solutions into cost-effective systems.
